When Someone Trusts You Enough to Sell You Their Business

As many of you know, I recently acquired a second Allstate agency. It’s been quite an experience, not necessarily for the faint of heart, but with excellent support behind me, we’ve made this a reality.

I bought the agency from Julia Gazzio, a fabulous woman, role model and extraordinary human being, and I’d like to introduce her to you. Honestly, things moved as smoothly as they did directly because of Julia.

In her own words, here’s a little bit about Julia:

Why did you join Allstate?

I joined Allstate because it gave me the opportunity to be an entrepreneur. I took all my experiences from my prior positions and applied it in this new role, and it was very important to me to see my Dad’s name “Gazzio” on the Allstate sign in front of the agency!

What do you think are your greatest strengths?

My greatest strength comes from Faith in God, my Parents and Grandmother Julia, who taught me the core values of hard work. From day one I have been dedicated to the Agency, building it from scratch because I care about what I do and the family of people in my book of business.

I am delighted to know my book of business will go to Christina Shaw as we share the same values, caring about what we do and the people we insure. I am committed to contacting all my customers, so they feel confident that I did not abandon them. It is important to me that my family of people know they can still contact me.

What’s next:

My plan is to work with Christina servicing my clients and maintain my great retention percentage. I have been a dancer for most of my life, and I intend to give more time to that passion of mine. It is a time for me to give back and I would like to help young women who lack confidence to move forward with their dreams.

It has been a privilege and honor to work with Julia and am excited about what the future will bring for both of us.

I’d the love the opportunity to work with you!
