It's your favorite extroverted, frequently posting, single mom insurance agent here, and today, I want to share a little piece of my world with you. You see, when I tell people what I do for a living, their usual response is, "I never thought you sold insurance." And I must admit, I absolutely love defying stereotypes and surprising people in the best way possible.


You might wonder why an extrovert with a big personality and a degree in marketing would choose a career in insurance, of all things. Well, my journey into this industry was quite unexpected, but it has turned out to be the best decision I've ever made.


First, let me tell you a bit about my background. I'm a single mom with 2 girls who thrives on being around people, but who also loves her “me” time. I love social gatherings, connecting with others, and building meaningful relationships. My social media is practically a photo album of our family adventures and endless snapshots of my tribe because they are my world.


So, how did I end up in the world of insurance? I always had a desire to make a difference in people's lives. When I was looking for a career that would provide stability and the opportunity to help others, insurance was not the first thing that came to mind. But as I delved into it, I realized how incredibly impactful this field can be.

Insurance isn't just about selling policies; it's about providing peace of mind, security, and protection for the people we serve. I quickly discovered that I could use my extroverted nature and love for connecting with people to make a genuine impact.


While I may not have initially envisioned myself as an insurance agent, I've come to see this career as my calling. Being a single mom, I understand the importance of safeguarding our loved ones' futures, especially in uncertain times. I've seen firsthand the difference insurance can make, and it's a passion that drives me every day.


When my house burned down, it was my insurance that enables me to pick up the pieces and keep going. Without having adequate insurance, I have no idea where I would be today.
