Saying Thanks Should Be A Daily Occurrence

Hear me out, please. Saying thank you is a gift you should give yourself, and doing it daily is something to aim for. Here’s why:

It helps you to slow down during the busiest of times and recognize the little things, It helps to cement relationships, whether they are already strong or just beginning, It provides for a feeling of well-being and contentment, It’s a simple way to show appreciation, respect, and recognition, It helps you to not take anything for granted. With just a thank you, you may also find yourself able to open doors where before they were closed, meet new people, and get new opportunities.

It’s one of the most effective business tactics that I know, and best of all it’s available to all of us.

You don’t need any special skills, nor does it cost anything.

All you need to do is get into the habit of doing it. Set aside 15 minutes a day to send out a few thank you emails or call someone and thank them over the phone. You can send some hand-written notes or send a small gift.

The key is to make it habitual behavior, and after a few days or weeks, it will become part of your “regular” day.

Best of all, you can start at any time, but being that I know how good it will make you and the recipient feel, I suggest you start right now.

Thank you
