People tell me they “see me everywhere.” Of course, that’s not true, but I do make it a point to be visible on the various social media platforms, mostly with the intent of increasing my visibility, recognition, and personal brand.
I believe that a strong online presence is crucial for the success of any business, and fortunately, there are numerous free or inexpensive tools available that can help you enhance your visibility and achieve significant results.
Here are some of my favorites:
1. Canva:
Canva is a graphic design platform that enables businesses to create eye-catching visuals, even if you're not a professional designer. It’s user-friendly, and there are hundreds of pre-designed templates. The platform allows you to design good-looking social media posts, infographics, flyers, and more.
I use Canva regularly and you can get a lot of options with the free version. There is also a paid version that is very cost-effective and provides more design choices.
2. Captions:
I’m a huge fan of Captions and if you follow me on social media, you’ll see that all my reels and videos are captioned. Using Captions doesn’t require any technical competency and you can make your video on your phone and captions will do the rest. Check it out. It’s fabulous.
3. Flodesk
Email marketing is a cost-effective way to reach your audience and I LOVE Flodesk.
Their templates are gorgeous, the platform is easy to use, and their pricing is reasonable. I’m so into them that if you email me, I’ll send you a discount code to get started!
Sending regular newsletters and updates to your audience helps keep your brand in their minds, increasing the likelihood of word-of-mouth referrals.
Staying top-of-mind is a critical component in business growth and Flodesk can help!
4. Grammarly:
Professional communication is crucial for building trust and credibility. Grammarly is a free tool that checks your writing for grammatical errors and suggests improvements. Ensuring that your content is error-free enhances your brand's professionalism and reliability. There is also a paid version.
I don’t send out anything without checking it in Grammarly.
And there are thousands of other tools and applications, available to everyone that wants to show up on social media looking professional, competent, and experienced.
Don't underestimate the power of these tools – they can make a substantial difference in your business's success and the growth of your personal brand.
